Sometimes the ingenuity of needlewomen simply surprises. You may not believe this, but original volumetric flowers, capable of becoming a stylish adornment, are easy to create with the help of an ordinary comb. It will take a little time to work, and designer decor of clothes or accessories will be a deserved reward.
Stages of birth of a wonderful flower
For work, you will need a comb with sparse teeth, a little yarn and a needle with a thick eye. The thicker the yarn, the more voluminous the flower will be. In fact, it is collected from individual petals.
In our case, the work involved 13 teeth combs. Other sizes are allowed if desired. To begin with, holding the thread, let it wave through the teeth.
Gaining the desired length, make a turn and start the next wave in the opposite direction.
We continue the set-up until there are 6 threads on the outside of each clove.
We cut the thread with the stock and proceed to the assembly. We start with the tooth with which the work began. Pass the needle through the prong with loops formed on it.
We fix the thread.
Now we pass the needle through the loops of the second row, and then we pass through the entire canvas in a similar way. The direction of the needle at the end of each row changes. Thread go zigzag.
Passing the needle through the loops of the last tooth, do not cut the thread.
Remove the bonded loops from the comb and get a blank under the petal.
Bend the petal in half and sew the ends together.
In the same way we do the remaining petals. Only for one flower they will need 6.
When all the petals are ready, proceed to the assembly.
The flower is ready, it remains only to supplement it with a bead.
